Belleville, Illinois - Marian L. Mueth, nee Faller, 97, of Belleville, IL in East St. Louis, IL died peacefully surrounded by family at her residence at the Shrine of Our Lady of Snows in Belleville, IL. She was born June 6, 1926, and died May 15, 2024.
A Memorial Mass will be held at Queen of Peace Catholic Church, 5923 N Belt West, Belleville, IL 62223 at 10:30 on Saturday, June 1st. Visitation will be held from 9:30 to 10:30 prior to Mass. Full obituary can be found at the Valhalla-Gaerdner-Holten Funeral Home Dignitymemorial.com.

Much love and condolences to Mrs. Mueth´s family and loved ones. She was my second grade teacher when I was a student at St. Libory school...she brought much love and comfort to a child that had struggles at home. She chauffeured that child to school (as well as her sister Rosemary did) when life became overwhelming for my Mom. She was my favorite teacher . I remember her beautiful voice as she practiced with all of the students for the Christmas Eve choir performance. Such a beautiful person...I realize how fortunate I was ..she was such an important part of my childhood. I hope one of her children or grandchildren have the "Last Supper" ceramic that was given to her probably 50 years ago as a gift of appreciation for her love and unwavering support to my mom....I remember being so proud as a child to bring her a gift that I found so beautiful. Thank you to Marian´s children...for sharing such a wonderful "Mom" with those whose Mom struggled to carry the load.
