Belleville, Illinois - Marilou Reiff, nee Krupp, 87, of Belleville, IL, born May 27, 1937, in Belleville, IL, died Monday, December 2, 2024, at Dammert Care Center, Belleville, IL.
Marilou worked as a bank teller for Belleville National Savings Bank before her retirement. She enjoyed softball, traveling, craft shows, arts and crafts, and cooking. Marilou also spent time volunteering at different nursing homes and humane societies.
She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 40 years, Walter L. Reiff, whom she married on October 15, 1960, and who died on April 20, 2001; her parents, William A. and Elsie, nee Sporleader, Krupp; her sister, Jeanette (Lorenz) Mueller; a step-son, David L. Reiff; and a step-daughter-in-law, Diane L. Reiff.
Marilou is survived by her step-son, Jerry Reiff; a step-daughter-in-law; Susan Reiff; two nieces, Laurie (Brad) Wobbe and Lisa Mueller; a nephew, John (Kim) Mueller; numerous great-nieces and great-nephews; her close friends, Lori Macke and Connie Grabak; and many other dear friends.
Memorials may be made to the Animal Shelter of your choice, in honor of Marilou's love for animals. Condolences may be expressed to the family online at www.rennerfh.com.
Visitation: Friends may visit from 1 to 2 p.m. Thursday, December 12, 2024, at the Chapel of the Benedictine Living Community at the Shrine, Belleville, IL.
Funeral: Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, December 12, 2024, at the Chapel of the Benedictine Living Community at the Shrine, Belleville, IL.
Burial will be held at Valhalla Gardens of Memory, Belleville, IL.
