Marion Capone
Marion J. Capone, 90, of Belleville, Ill., born March 13, 1913, in St. Louis, Mo., died Monday, Oct. 6, 2003, at Rosewood Care Center, Swansea, Ill.
Mr. Capone was a retired truck driver from M.B. Gintz Distributing Co. He was a member of the Teamsters Union and of St. Teresa Catholic Church, Belleville, Ill.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Helen, nee Agne, Capone, whom he married Oct. 4, 1938, and who died March 22, 1993; his parents, Joseph and Rose, nee Sansone, Capone; four sisters, Margaret Bova, Josephine Bova, Agnes Mangaipane and Teresa Capone; and two brothers, Andre Capone and Michael Capone.
He is survived by two sons, Denis (Virginia) Capone of Smithton, Ill., and Gary (Karen) Capone of Decatur, Ala.; three grandchildren, Matthew (Kelly) Capone, Kevin Capone and Joanna (Brian) Douglass; two great-grandchildren, Trevor and Carlie; a sister, Isabelle Hagen of St. Louis, Mo.; and nieces and nephews.
Memorials may be made to the charity of the donor's choice.

Visitation: Friends called Wednesday, Oct. 8, 2003, at George Renner & Sons Funeral Home, Belleville, Ill. A prayer service was held Wednesday at the funeral home.

Funeral: Funeral procession will leave at 9:45 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 9, 2003, from George Renner & Sons Funeral Home, Belleville, Ill., for a 10 a.m. Mass of Christian burial at St. Teresa Catholic Church, Belleville, Ill., with the Rev. Trevor Murry officiating. Burial will be in Lake View Memorial Gardens, Fairview Heights, Ill.
