Martha Wellman
Martha J. Wellman, nee Whitehead, 49 of Kaaua, Hawaii, formerly of Fairmont City, Ill., born Feb. 8, 1957, in East St. Louis, Ill., went to meet her Lord on Saturday, June 17, 2006.
Mrs. Wellman graduated from Collinsville High School in Collinsville, Ill. She was a devoted and loving mother and homemaker. She was of the Pentecost Faith.
Mrs. Wellman was preceded in death by her husband, Larry Wane Wellman Sr.; a son in infancy, William Eugene Wellman; her parents, Warren H. and Ida Ruth, nee Harper, Whitehead; and one brother, Thomas David Whitehead.
She is survived by her children, Brandy (Ron) Mueller of Fairview Heights, Ill., Amber (fiance Travis Afong) Whitehead, Christopher Whitehead, Larry Wane Wellman Jr., Warren Wellman, and Thomas Wellman, all of Kaaua, Hawaii; grandchildren, Christian and Makena Mueller, Maikaipomaikai Afong, and a grandson due soon; sisters and brothers, Mary Jo Hopper of Fairmont City, Ill., Nell (Morris) Hannon of Fairmont City, Ill., Marion (Margie) Whitehead of Sun City, Calif., James (Nancy) Whitehead of Granite City, Ill., and Timothy Whitehead of Swansea, Ill.; a host of other relatives and friends.
Memorials may be made to the family in care of Nell Hannon.

Visitation: Friends may call from 10 to 11 a.m. Friday, June 23, 2006, at Dodo Mortuary, Hilo, Hawaii.

Funeral: Funeral services will be held from 11 a.m. to noon at Dodo Mortuary, Hilo, Hawaii. There will be a memorial service held Friday, June 23, 2006, at Trinity Pentecostal Church of God, 9140 Bunkum Rd., Fairview Heights, Ill. 62208 at 6 p.m. Burial will be Monday, June 26, 2006, at Veteran's Cemetery, Hilo, Hawaii.
