O'Fallon, Illinois - Mary Sue Clarkson, nee Gauruder, 81, of O'Fallon, IL, born Monday, December 2, 1940, in East Saint Louis, IL, passed away Wednesday, September 14, 2022, at Mercy Rehabilitation Center in Swansea, IL.
Mary worked as a Beauty Advisor for Famous Barr - Fairview Heights for over 20 years. She was a former member of Zion and Signal Hill Lutheran Churches in Belleville, IL, and Junior Service Club.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Clarkson; infant daughter, Debbie Sue Blazier; parents, Arthur and Dorothy V., nee Radisic, Gauruder; dear aunt, Genevie Koehler; and pet companion, Sweetie pie.
Surviving are her daughter, Connie Sue Blazier of Belleville, IL; step-son, Rick A. (Debbie) Clarkson of Columbia, IL; grandchildren, Timothy A. Clarkson, Bryan J. Clarkson, Andrew M. (Cayla) Clarkson; great-daughter, Miller, many dear cousins and friends.

Services: Private services were held on Saturday September 24, 2022 at Kurrus Funeral Home in Belleville, IL. Private interment at Valhalla Gardens of Memory in Belleville, IL.
