Norma Wala

Norma Jean Wala, nee Guzior, 75, of Menomonee Falls, WI, formerly of Belleville, IL, born April 11, 1942, in East St. Louis, IL, died Monday, April 9, 2018, at Community Memorial Hospital, Menomonee Falls, WI.

Norma worked as an administrative assistant for many years before her retirement. Locally, she worked in civil service at Scott Air Force Base, and later worked for RMG Corporation in Milwaukee, WI. Norma enjoyed spending time with friends and was a member of the Menomonee Falls Dart Association. She loved to dance and was an avid jazz music enthusiast.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Stanley J. and Bertha T., nee Kirkley, Guzior; two sisters, Francis Juanita (Ernest) Smith, and Loretta (John) Sirtak; and one brother-in- law, Bob Stuecken.

She is survived by her husband of nearly 30 years, Frank J. K. Wala; a son, Chris Edward Rigney of Millstadt, IL; a daughter, Lisa Kay (Scott) Pruett of Millstadt, IL; a step-son, Jeffrey Kenneth Wala of Mount Horeb, WI; seven grandchildren, Christopher Rigney, Kimberly Morr, Brittany Rigney, Amy (Jim) Huetson, Shannon Rigney, Taylor Pruett, and Bryan Pruett; four great- grandchildren, Matthew, Mela, Kali, and Hailey; a brother, Donald (Gayle) Guzior Sr. of Marietta, GA; a sister, Dorothy Stuecken of Inverness, FL; and nieces and nephews.

Burial will be at Green Mount Catholic Cemetery, Belleville, IL.
