Otillia M. "Tillie" Gummersheimer, nee Theobald, 93, of Columbia, Ill., born Saturday, Oct. 8, 1910, in Columbia, Ill., died Thursday, July 8, 2004, at St. Anthony's Medical Center, St. Louis, Mo.
Mrs. Gummersheimer was a member of St. Paul United Church of Christ, Columbia, Ill.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Clarence W. Gummersheimer, who died Feb. 15, 1985; her parents, Abraham and Otillia, nee Frierdich, Theobald; two brothers and two sisters, Herman J. Frierdich, Lucille Woodcock, Edna Sander and Abraham Theobald IV; and two grandchildren, Daniel Scott Gummersheimer and Ryan David Gummersheimer.
She is survived by three sons, Roy Gummersheimer of St. Louis, Mo., Gene (Wanda) Gummersheimer of Columbia, Ill., and Jim (Orpha) Gruen of Trinity, Fla.; four grandchildren, Wade (Amy) Gummersheimer, John Gruen, Laura Gruen and James Gruen; and other relatives and friends.

Visitation: Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Sunday, July 11, 2004, at Lawlor Funeral Home, Columbia, Ill.

Funeral: Funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Monday, July 12, 2004, at Lawlor Funeral Home, Columbia, Ill., with the Rev. Mike Dixon. Burial will be in Evangelical St. Paul Cemetery, Columbia, Ill.
