Pauline Teufert Obituary
Pauline E. Teufert, nee, Funken, 101, of Fairview Heights, Ill., born on December 14, 1915 in Staunton, Ill., died on March 28, 2017 at St. Paul's Home, Belleville, Ill.
Pauline enjoyed bird watching, WWF Wrestling, NASCAR and was an avid Pittsburgh Steelers fan. She had a kind and caring heart and appreciated and was thankful for everyone. Pauline was a wonderful cook and would share her great meals with many.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 68 years, Edward A. Tuefert; his parents, Martin and Elizabeth, nee Zamalo, Funken; her siblings, Martin Funken, Hannah Urban, Alois Funken; and her twin sister, Erna Spotti.
Pauline is survived her children, Cathy Sue (Dennis) Collett of Albany, Ore. and Gene D. Teufert of Fairview Heights, Ill.; her grandchildren, Aaron (Genae) Collett, Liesa (Glenn) Eppick, Miriam Collett, Jordan (Elena) Collett, Zoa Teufert and Chloe Teufert; and six great-grandchildren.
Memorials are preferred to Audubon Society or to Alzheimer's Foundation. Condolences may be expressed to the family online at www.kasslyfuneral.com.
Visitation: Visitation will be held from noon to 2 p.m. on Monday, April 3, 2017 at Kassly Mortuary, Ltd., 9900 St. Clair Avenue, Fairview Heights, Ill. 62208.
Services: Funeral Service will be held at 2 p.m. on Monday, April 3, 2017, at Kassly Mortuary, Ltd., Fairview Heights, Ill. with Msgr. Bill McGhee officiating. Interment in Lake View Memorial Gardens, Fairview Heights, Ill.

I miss you & think of you every day Mrs. T! I'm so blessed to have spent the last 3 years with you. You taught me about living life to the fullest and I truly enjoyed your company. Rest in Peace dear friend, I know you and Erna are together and you two are probably climbing trees again like you use to growing up. Love you always,

We will miss Pauline! She and Ed were neighbors to my Grandparents when they were newlyweds and then neighbors to us when we moved to Lincoln Trail. Many happy memories with Cathy when we were children! Please have our greatest sympathy! Patty & Marion
