Fairview Heights, Illinois - Randy Louis Lampe, Sr., age 63, born on November 11, 1957, in Granite City, IL, went off to join the spirits in the sky on Wednesday, September 1, 2021, from his home in Fairview Heights, IL.
Randy was a United States Army Veteran and worked as a Heavy Equipment Operator, Tank Mechanic and was proud to have served his country. He was employed as a Tree Trimmer for Local 309, Collinsville, IL.
Randy was preceded in death by his wife, Inez Lampe; his parents, Jerome "Jerry" and Elizabeth "Betty," nee Schwander, Lampe; his elder brother, Edward Emil Lampe; and his nephew, Brandon Edward Emil Lampe.
He is survived by his son Randy (Jessica) Lampe, Jr; his grandchildren, Lorelei Lynn, Laynie Olivia, and Londyn Paige Lampe; his friends, Damian Willoughby and Manual Haller as the "kin" he never wanted - lol - who were always there for him; his siblings, Geraldine (Gary) Eccles, Victoria (Mike) Faust, Cheryl (Edward) Madeline, Stanley (Sue) Lampe, and his youngest brother, Jerome (Marla) Lampe, Jr.; his nephews and cousins, including Justin, Krystal, Lori, Mindi, Nikki, Katie, Zachary, Tori, Brittany, Sarah, Terra, Josh, Janda, Gary Jr., Tressa, and Justin. To know him was to love him and to love him was to know him. Rest in peace.

Memorial service will be held on Wednesday, September 8, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. at Kassly Mortuary, Ltd., with Pastor Eugene Williams officiating.
