Waterloo, Illinois - Richard Ellis Morris, 91, of Waterloo, IL passed away peacefully on Sunday June 6, 2021 at home surrounded by loved ones.
Richard was a proud Air Force and Army Veteran. His distinguished and honorable career took him around the world including Japan and later Germany. Richard served proudly and faithfully to his fullest capacity. Richard later owned and operated Morris Auto and Radiator Repair for more than 10 years. His passions were fishing, gardening, and cooking new and interesting dishes. Love and laughter surrounded those who were in Richard's presence. He always chose love and cherished his time with those he held dear. He has touched so many lives and will truly be missed.
Richard was born September 7th, 1930 in Toledo Ohio, to William and Ester Morris. They preceded him in death, as well as his brother, Ronald Morris.
Richard is survived by his loving wife, Patsy Morris; sons, Richard (Gaby) Morris Jr, William Arlin Morris; daughter, Margret Hawk; grandchildren, Robert, Patrick, Andrew, Amy, Willy, Scott, Thomas (Mindy), Mathew, Aeron; great grandchildren, Weston, Aoura, Liam, Logan, Russell, Eloise, Keagan, Brielle, Mariah; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

VISITATION: A visitation for Richard will be held on Monday, June 14, 2021 from 12:00 P.M. - 2:00 P.M. at Lake View Funeral Home, Fairview Heights, IL.
SERVICE: A funeral service will be held Monday, June 14, 2021 at 2:00 P.M. at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Lake View Memorial Gardens, Fairview Heights, IL.
