Caseyville, Illinois - Richard Dean Weisbrodt, 73, of Caseyville, IL, born Tuesday, February 27, 1951, in East St. Louis, IL, passed away Wednesday, December 25, 2024, at his home in Caseyville, IL.
Richard was a retired maintenance worker for Krupp Brothers Property Management and was an avid motorcycle rider and loved to fish. He was a member of the Belleville Illinois Fraternal Order of Police and a supporter of the Belleville Little Devils Football Club.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Linda (nee Boyer) Weisbrodt; parents, Richard and Norma (nee Thompson) Weisbrodt.
Surviving are his sons, Michael (Amy) Weisbrodt, of New Athens, IL, and Ricky Weisbrodt, of Fairview Heights, IL; brothers, Rodney (Nancy) Weisbrodt. of St. Louis, MO, and Denny Weisbrodt (Lori), of Belleville, IL; grandson, Christopher (Kailey) Ohlendorf, of New Athens, IL; great-granddaughter, Olivia Ohlendorf; and many dear nieces and nephews.
Memorials: Memorials may be made to the Belleville Little Devils Football Club.
Memorial Gathering: Thursday, January 2, 2025, at Kurrus Funeral Home in Belleville, IL from 4 to 7 p.m.
Graveside Service: Funeral procession will leave at 9:45 a.m. for a 10 a.m. graveside service on Friday, January 3, 2025, at Mt. Carmel Cemetery in Belleville, IL.
