Roberta (Thames) Walson, 67, of Sparta, IL; born on August 10, 1954 in Lansing, Michigan; passed away on Wednesday, April 6, 2022 at her home.
She was a devoted mother and wife. She was married to the late Willie Walson, Jr. and their union produced one child.
She was preceded in death by her husband – Willie Walson, Jr.; parents – Robert and Gladys Thames; two brothers – John Thames and Robert Lee Thames; one sister – Linnie Wade.
Roberta leaves to cherish her memory and lament her passing, one son – Willie Walson, III of St. Louis, MO; sisters – Luetta (Willie) Devrouax of Warrenton, MO, Carlene Wilkes of Sparta, IL, Ruth Haniff of Orlando, FL, Priscilla (Anthony) Curtis of Las Vegas, NV; brother – Charles (Lula Dee) Thames of Warrenton, MO; a host of uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews, cousins and dear family friends.

It was her wish to be cremated and private services will be held at a later date.
