Rosemary J. Johnasen, 52, of Collinsville, Ill., born Jan. 19, 1951, in East St. Louis, Ill., died Friday, Sept. 19, 2003, at Memorial Hospital, Belleville, Ill.
Mrs. Johnasen worked as a data entry clerk for Stifel-Nicolaus & Co. Inc. She was a 1969 graduate of East St. Louis High School and a National Honor Society member and had attended MacMurray College, Jacksonville, Ill.
She was preceded in death by her father, Isaac R. Johnasen; an aunt, Betty Jean Haynes; and her maternal grandparents, George and Margaret, nee Baudendistel, Haynes.
Surviving are her mother, Virginia L. Johnasen of Collinsville, Ill.; two sisters, Judy A. (fiance Larry Birmingham) Correll of Danvers, Ill., and Susan (Lloyd) Smith of Collinsville, Ill.; two uncles, James (Betsy) Haynes of Marco Island, Fla., and Donald Johnasen of San Jose, Calif.; an aunt, Margaret Paiva of San Jose, Calif.; two nieces, Bonnie Correll of Danvers, Ill., and Ruth (Jon) Mills of Fairview heights, Ill.; a great-niece, Lorien Mills; and many cousins and friends.
Memorials may be made to the Belleville Humane Society or to the family for direct donation.

Visitation: Friends may call from 5 to 9 p.m. Monday, Sept. 22, 2003, at Kassly Mortuary, Fairview Heights, Ill., and from 9 to 10 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 23, 2003, at the First Christian Church, Caseyville, Ill.

Funeral: Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 23, 2003, at the First Christian Church (Disciples of Christ), Caseyville, Ill., with the Rev. Connie Green officiating. Interment will be in Mount Hope Cemetery, Belleville, Ill.
