Ruby Branson Obituary
Ruby F. Branson, nee Richardson, 77, of Belleville, Ill., born April 4, 1926, in Hamilton Colo., died Wednesday, Nov. 26, 2003, at Four Fountains Nursing Home, Belleville, Ill.
Mrs. Branson was a retired checker for Kroger and Shopland Grocery. She was a member of St. Matthew United Methodist Church, Rob Morris Chapter 98 OES, past matron of Al Sihah Temple 29 Daughters of the Nile and Calvary Shrine 24 WSJ.
Mrs. Branson was preceded in death by her husband, Floyd R. Branson Jr.; her parents, A.O. and Marion F., nee Loss, Richardson; a brother, Andrew Richardson Jr.; two sisters, Mary Inez Williams and Hazel Irene Geiger; and a brother, William H. Branson.
Surviving are a stepson, Gary (Vicki) Branson of Florida; three sisters-in-law, Eva Jane (Walter) Berry of Belleville, Ill., Mary (Ernie) Allen of Belleville, Ill., and Edna Branson of Belleville, Ill.; nieces and nephews, Darryl Geiger, Debbie Eisele, Robert Andrew, Janie Keever, Cathy (Marty) Babinsky, Vickie (Arthur) Martin, Sandy (Ray) Tunniclif, Patty (James) Free, Bill (Terri) Branson, and Dennis Allen; step-grandchild, Eric Branson; great-nieces, Dawn Eisele and Christina Eisele; four great-nephews, Gary Williams, Brent Richardson, Brandon Richardson and Todd Eisele; and other great-nieces and great-nephews.
Memorials may be made to St. Matthew United Methodist Church or Shriner's Hospital for Children.
Visitation: Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday, Nov. 28, 2003, at Kurrus Funeral Home, Belleville, Ill. A Order of East Star service will be held at 7 p.m. Friday at Kurrus Funeral Home, Belleville, Ill.
Funeral: Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 29, 2003, at Kurrus Funeral Home, Belleville, Ill., with the Rev. Jim Slone officiating. Burial will be in lake View Memorial Gardens, Fairview Heights, Ill.
