Sharon L. Osborne, nee Gardner, 75, of St. Louis, Mo., formerly of Belleville, Ill., born Friday, Dec. 6, 1935, in East St. Louis, Ill., died Wednesday, June 29, 2011, at Charlevoir Health Care in St. Charles, Mo.
Ms. Osborne worked as an executive secretary for Fleishman Hillard of St. Louis and an executive secretary for Marsh and McLennan Inc. of St. Louis.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Thomas and Evelyn, nee Newton, Gardner.
Surviving are her children, Lorin K. Fite of Washington, Mo., and Kelly (Russ) Hunt of St. Peters, Mo.; brother, Kent A. (Patrica) Gardner of Belleville, Ill.; sister, Pamela Dominguez of Belleville, Ill.; grandchildren, Gary Lee (Helena) Price, Kacie Lynne (Richard) Alexander, Jason Robert Hunt, and Evann Kristine Rachels; great-grandchild, Avery Soren Price; nephews, Scott Gardner, and Blake Gitto; and niece, Stacey L. Gardner.
Memorials may be made to the Belleville Humane Society. Condolences may be expressed online at www.kurrusfh.com.
Visitation: Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday, June 30, 2011, at Kurrus Funeral Home in Belleville, Ill.
Funeral: Private burial will be held Friday, July 1, 2011, at Mount Hope Cemetery, Belleville, Ill.

I , too, send my sympathies to the family. I worked with Sharon at Fleishman-Hillard for many years, and we shared a lot of time together -- for many years, in the "smoking room" and, at other times, too. I'll remember her in my prayers.

My deepest sympathies to the family. Sharon and I worked together at Fleishman-Hillard. She also was a very close friend of my aunt, Betty Feinberg (Helfer). They were in school together and remained friends through adulthood (my aunt passed away several years ago). I will remember you all in my prayers.
