Thelma Stone
Thelma Lee Stone, nee Yates, 86, of Republic, Mo., formerly of Collinsville, Ill., born April 21, 1920, in Memphis, Tenn., died Saturday, Aug. 19, 2006, at Cox South Hospital, Springfield, Mo.
Mrs. Stone valued her memory and was a great asset to her daughter, Joyce, by helping her with computer work and the e-bay business.
She was preceded in death by her husband, George N. Stone Jr., whom she married April 9, 1936; and her parents, James and Ethel, nee Allen, Yates.
Surviving are her children, Joyce Stone of Republic, Mo., Ethel (Larry) Clubb of Collinsville, Ill., Patricia Taylor of Collinsville, Ill., George (Carol) Stone Jr., of O'Fallon, Ill., and James (Jodi) Stone of Rolla, Mo.; 20 grandchildren; 41 great-grandchildren; and six great great-grandchildren.
Memorials may be made to the family.

Visitation: Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 22, 2006, at Herr Funeral Home, Collinsville, Ill.

Funeral: Funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Aug. 23, 2006, at Herr Funeral Home, Collinsville, Ill., with the Rev. Gary Bartle officiating. Interment will be in St. John Cemetery, Collinsville, Ill.
