Scoutmaster Tom was a Dad to me, he and his wife Edna loved me like their own and I felt it. He taught me how to love my wife and now two grown children.. not to leave out my grown Grandson. Tom was a true role model. I have never forgot the family. Father in Heaven may you bring comfort to them all.

Just a few weeks ago, I found myself thinking about Mr. Hurlburt. I was painting low to the ground and thought about sitting, but then I remembered something he taught us while working on our Painting merit badge in Scouts. He impressed upon us the importance of never sitting while painting, sharing how he nearly got fired from his first painting job for doing so. It´s just one of the many life lessons he passed on to us.

In so many ways, I am who I am today because of Mr. Hurlburt. I will forever be grateful for the time I spent with him, his mentorship, and the countless wonderful memories our families shared. My heart is heavy at the news of his passing, but I know he would want us to remember his laughter, his lessons, and the adventures we shared. Rest in peace, Mr. Hurlburt-you will be deeply missed and fondly remembered.

Ruthie & family, sorry to hear this, you know that your dad and I always had a fun time. When him & your mom coached our softball team, he called me Bill, him and my Aunt were the only ones to call me Bill, why I don't know!! He will be missed here, but up there, it's a big welcome party happening. Prayers to the family.
