We used to play together when we were kids on piat street east st louis IL. I lived across the street and will never forget the day her dad took us all on a boat ride on the Mississippi river.

I met Vicki when I started as a graduate nurse in pediatrics at Normandy South Hospital. She was one of the best nurses I ever worked with and boy did she have a way with the kids. She was like a big kid herself always shining a light and getting everyone to laugh a little. She was a great teacher and I learned a lot from her. We worked together again right before she left the hospital for home care. She has been missed since then and all the gals in outpatient surgery who remember having the pleasure of her company are saddened by the news of her passing. Our thoughts and prayers go out to all her family and friends

Vicki...no one EVER made me laugh harder than you did. When I came back to school after my mom died you were waiting in the hall for me and was my body guard my first day back. You set all the teachers straight on where I had been and why my homework was not done and they would answer to YOU. I just talked to you a few months ago and we caught up on me but not you, which was your style. I love you Vicki and get your first apt. after I clear the bonds of Earth. I pray for your family who no doubt love and miss you dearly. You are the unsinkable Molly Brown and you made my life worth living. Love you Vicki!!!

Rest in peace my friend. Vicki was loved by many and a loyal friend throughout the years. Her love of freedom, love of the arts and love of fun did not surpass her love of family. We cherish the times we shared and will look forward to sharing again over the rainbow. Our sympathy and prayers to all of the Ahn family, love Nancy and Sharon H.

Our hearts are broken. We loved Vicki so much. We are so thankful for all that she taught us. She showed us the wonder of life. She had such a positive influence on all that knew her. One day we will be together again.
