William Lampkin Obituary
Rev. Dr. William R. Lampkin, 83, of O'Fallon, Ill., born April 22, 1932, in Baldwyn, Miss., passed away Wednesday, Sept. 30, 2015, at his home.
William was a veteran of the United States Air Force and served 40 years as a Methodist minister, most of that in the North Mississippi Conference.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Andrew and Etna, nee Harrelson, Lampkin; brothers, Jack Lampkin, Thomas Lampkin, and John Lampkin; and sister-in-law, Marjorie Lampkin.
Surviving are his wife, Rev. Johnnie S. Lampkin of O'Fallon, Ill.; children, Julie (Greg) Schwartz of O'Fallon, Ill., Eric (Deborah) Lampkin of Columbus, Miss., and Jennifer (Joseph) DeFelice of Vancouver, Wash.; grandchildren, Ellen Self, Camilla Schwartz, Andrew Schwartz, and Thomas Schwartz; and sisters-in-law, Betty Lampkin of Kentucky, and Sandy Lampkin of Lebanon, Ill.

Visitation: A memorial visitation will be held from 1 to 3 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 4, 2015, at O'Fallon First United Methodist Church, 504 E. U.S. Hwy. 50 O'Fallon, Ill.
Funeral: A memorial service will be held at 3 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 4, 2015, at the church with Rev. Joel Catlin officiating.
