Zachary Lynch Obituary
Zachary Lynch, 26, of Belleville, Ill., born, Feb. 6, 1981, in Belleville, Ill., died Sunday, Oct, 21, 2007 at his residence.
Zach was an avid motorcycle enthusiast. He loved music, playing bass guitar in area
bands and worked as a soundman for other area bands. He also owned his own tree service.
He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, John and Julia Lynch; his maternal grandmother; Ethel Goldsmith; a special uncle, John "Steve" Stephens; and an uncle, Wendell Goldsmith.
Surviving are his mother, Shirley (James) Coleman of Belleville, Ill.; his father, Kenneth (Pearly) Lynch of St. Ann, Mo.; two brothers, Chod (Teresa) Lynch of Belleville, Ill., and Wendell (Amy) Lynch of Belleville, Ill.; a sister, Melissa Lynch of Belleville, Ill.; a grandmother, Carol O'Leary; a grandfather; William Goldsmith; five nieces and nephews, Hannah, Grant Kyle, Tristan and Lleyton; and aunts, uncles, cousins, and many friends.
Zach loved, laughed and lived his life to the fullest. We all hope to see you again.
Memorials are appreciated in lieu of flowers to the family.
Visitation: Friends may call from 4 to 7 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 25, 2007, at Valhalla Holten Funeral Home, Belleville, Ill.
Funeral: Funeral Service will be held at 7 p.m., Thursday, Oct. 25, 2007, at Valhalla Holten Funeral Home, Belleville, Ill., with Rev. Wes Hart officiating. Interment will be at Valhalla Gardens of Memory, Belleville, Ill.

When we got the news about Zach We felt is if we had lost our own son. Shawn and Zach always there buggin me for my car or something. Many of fun nights spent in the haunted house with all of you and Zach always the life of the party. Shawn lost his best friend and we all lost a wonderful soul. This has been so much to take. Zach was such a beautiful person through and through. Always a smile for you and an "I love you". His life cut way too short but thankfully we have the hope of eternity. God bless this family as we face the days ahead.

My thoughts and prayers are with you. I met Zach when I was dating Brian Cullen. Every Monday night, we were all together with Heather and Dave Donahue at the Villa Hills fire department. My daughter Ashley was about 3 or 4 at the time. I lost touch with Zach then but had been socializing with him again for about the last 2 years. I belong to the American Legion womens horseshoe team (1) and sometimes would see him on Monday nights. Everyone loved him and he will be greatly missed.

First of all I'm so sorry for your loss. Zack was always so upbeat and funloving. There was always a smile on his face and it was impossible to be sad or upset in his presance. All week I've been thinking that this is just not possible and that it wouldn't be real to me until I went to the wake and here I am the day after and it still doesn't seem real. Then I realized that Zack will never really be gone he's just somewhere else laughing, having fun and flashing that million dollar smile of his. He will always be with all of us and will never ever be fogotten.

I sit here tonight, the first time i have drank in almost a month and the only reason i do is because i mis the good times, and when i was at my worst when nobody could cheer me up or bring a smile to my face,and also to the times in between where life was placid and uneventful, in all those times there was ZACK!!! I am not one to put to words how I feel but my friend who waits for me now in the distant future has left me and many more in this world alone and lost with out his smiling face to look upon and to tell us all it is alright.I for one can speak that if not Zack been there i would have a very crooked nose!!! he had not a mean bone in his body unless someone messed with someone he cared for ,and then it was game on.
I could go on and write for hours on how good of a friend you were but i will keep most to myself i wish i could have been there to usher you in to eternity my friend amd my brother forever you will be missed

Zach was and always will be like a little brother to me! I will forever miss him! Our family has been through a lot this year, and the only person that is going to help us go on is GOD! We all have to keep strong in our belief and keep going. You all our in our prayers. There are tons of memories, but the most recent one is when Zach decided to smear cake in my face at our birthday party. That ultimately was the highlight of that day! But do not be afraid to cry; it does relieve the pain.
Remember there would be no flowers, unless there was some rain.
I wish that I could tell you all that God has planned.
But if I were to tell you, you wouldn't understand.
But one thing is for certain, though my life on earth is o'er.
I'm closer to you now, than I ever was before.
There are many rocky roads ahead of you and many hills to climb;
but together we can do it by taking one day at a time.
It was always my philosophy and I'd like it for you too...
that as you give unto the world, the world will give to you.
If you can help somebody who's in sorrow and pain,
then you can say to God at night......"My day was not in vain."
And now I am contented....that my life has been worthwhile,
knowing as I passed along the way, I made somebody smile.
So if you meet somebody who is sad and feeling low,
