Aaron Bornemann Obituary

Aaron Richmond Bornemann was born on the 4th of July, 1991 and left this world on April 3rd, 2015. True to his generous nature, he was an organ donor and will live on through his donations. Aaron touched so many lives and was loved by so many. Aaron was a four year letterman at Sehome H.S. in track as a high jumper. He was a graduate of Well Spring High School. Aaron loved music and loved his friends. He was a member of the Bass Area Crew and Fear and Loathing working with electronic dance music. He was someone who was as comfortable talking with political figures as he was with someone on the street. He was non-judgmental and saw the good in everyone. He is survived by his brother Elliot Bornemann, his mother Jennifer Richmond, and his father Terry Bornemann. There will be a memorial service for Aaron on Saturday, April 11, 2015, 1:00PM, at Bellingham Technical College, Settlemyer Hall. Arrangements by:

Dear Jennifer, Terry and Elliot,
I have looked through all our old photos (remember photo albums) as a means to reflect and gather the good and positive. So many great Easter Egg Hunts (in the Hood), Birthday Celebrations, winter sledding and much more. I will never forget the day he came to be with you. Never did we think, in those days of joy, that raising children would be like trying to cross a minefield. You have been great parents, brother, friends and neighbors. Love to you all.

Hey, Battery!
You had the most beautiful service. I just couldn't believe you were gone up until going to that. Then, the tears started, and they haven't stopped for long ever since.
I could feel you there at the memorial service, in the amazing amount of love most everyone in the room shares for you, and I could feel you last night at the club, dancing it up with everybody.
I'm going to remember you always as The God of Dance, as Battery (sorry), as my best friend's true love, and as one of the first people who saw me for who I really am and accepted me in all my weirdness.
I love you so much.
From, Gondor

It's hard to believe that a few short weeks ago we were talking about our children and all the good things happening in their lives. I'm so grateful to have watched Aaron grow up and to have seen him in recent weeks. He brought a smile to my face. My heart is with you all.
