Elveria Jean (Hamilton) Koste
March 30, 1930 - September 10, 2021
Bellingham, Washington - In loving memory of a very vibrant and beautiful woman, Elveria Jean (Hamilton) Koste. As a long-time resident of Bellingham, Washington, Elveria was born to parents Richard Hamilton and Sophie Josie Kuehnel on March 30, 1930 in Bellingham, Washington. She passed away peacefully at her care facility on September 10, 2021, at the age of 91, in Bellingham, Washington.
Elveria spent most of her adult career caring for others in nursing homes and as a hospice nurse. She enjoyed knitting and crocheting as a hobby and would spend her free time knitting slippers for family and friends every year. Later in life she would also knit slippers for charity events and children in foster care. Elveria also enjoyed listening to Sunday gospel, watching game shows and reality TV, in which she would frequently call her sister to discuss the week's events, and was an avid fan of the Seattle Mariners baseball team. Elveria is preceded in death by both her parents, her older sister Lillian Lorraine Daniel, and her only beloved child, Robert John Koste Jr. She leaves behind many loved ones including her younger sister Brenda May Hamilton, two granddaughters, four great-grandchildren and many nieces, nephews, cousins and loving friends. Elveria was a spunky gal who lived a long and wonderful life and will be greatly missed by all that were fortunate enough to have known her or been a recipient of her charitable nature. Per her wishes, no services will be held. Please sign the Book of Memories, light a candle and leave your condolences for the family at www.JernsFH.com
