Jack Quillen Obituary

Cadillac Jack left to go dancing with the stars on October 14th, 2025. Jack was born in Portland, OR and later moved to Deming, WA with his parents Alvin and Lucy Quillen.

After graduating from Mt. Baker High School in 1956 he became a logger in Deming. He then worked for car detail & body shops learning skills that would later become a lifelong passion of restoring classic cars. He then joined the Operators Union, local 302, running heavy equipment. He worked on the Alaska Pipeline and many roads and freeways locally as well.

Jack's favorite hobby was restoring classic Cadillacs to showroom condition. He also loved to go out country western dancing. Jack will be missed by his friends around Snohomish County, especially the ones at Jake's Cafe in downtown Snohomish where he went to tell stories and drink coffee for the last several decades.

He leaves behind his daughter- Terri, two sons- Jeff & Tim, along with many grandkids and many many great grandkids. He was a little rough on the outside, but had a giving heart and was always willing to lend a hand to anyone who needed it.

He loved his family and friends, and we loved him.

Special thanks to the Lake Stevens Fire Department and Deputy Taylor, who were very kind in our time of need.

Cousin Jack and I had lots of fun during my time in Deming. He was a few years older and in later years always had a cool car. My mom gave me a direct order never to ride with him. Needless to say, I rode with him every chance I got! We spent many Christmases and family times together throughout the years. He was a good guy and always fun to be with. Rest in peace Jack. I can still hear those dual exhausts blasting down the Mt. Baker highway to the Marshall Hill Road and home!
