Lynden, Washington - John Barney Enstrom, 77, passed away on March 17, 2025, in Lynden, Washington.
Born on December 12, 1947, John was raised with a strong work ethic that he carried throughout his life. A proud graduate of Ferndale, he went on to serve three years in the U.S. Army. His career path reflected his dedication and resiliencehe worked at Intalco, operated a dairy farm, and later contributed his efforts to Trident Seafoods.
John was known for his tireless spirit and determination. Like his father before him, he believed deeply in the value of hard work and often declared with a smirk, "No one outworks me." That motto guided him through every chapter of his life.
He is remembered by his daughter Michelle (Keith) Sandland of Lynden; son Travis (Kessie) Enstrom of El Paso, Texas; seven grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, Johanna (Altena) and John Enstrom; sister Carol Rush; and son Chad Enstrom.
In accordance with John's wishes, no services will be held. Those who wish to honor his memory are encouraged to make donations to the Lighthouse Mission or a charity that supports veterans.
May his memory bring comfort to those who knew him.

RIP John! John was a great Classmate, FHS `66 ! He raised his two Sons well, whom I had in my " SMALL FRY DAYCARE", back in the mid 70´s on Northwest Rd. Ferndale! Great boys! You will be missed!

I am so sad to hear this news. I remember when John married my sister Loretta. He was so kind and I envied his Roadrunner, "beep beep" I remember Darigold tankers come in and get his milk from his dairy farm. I will never forget you brother in law. RIP John

I am so sad to hear this news. I was very young when John married my sister Loretta. He was always so kind. I remember and envied his Roadrunner "beep beep" and I remember the dairy farm where Darigold would come in with tanker trucks to get his milk from his dairy cows.
