Margaret Turner Obituary
She is survived by her beloved husband of 33 years, Kendall Turner; her four children, Marti Jones, Spencer Nelson (Julie), Cory Nelson, and Brook Nelson; and her two stepdaughters, Melissa Turner-Cline (Knute) and Shannon DuBois (Jim). She was the proud grandmother of 15 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.
Judy is also survived by her sister, Carolyn Kim (H.Y.), and her brother, Doug Bell, as well as many cherished nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Stuart and Alice Bell; her brother, George Bell; and her son-in-law, John Jones.
Judy spent many years serving her community through her work at ARCO in Ferndale, WA, the Bellingham Sheriff's Office, and First Presbyterian Church in Yakima, WA. She also loved giving back through volunteer work, including with Trail Seekers in Yakima and on a mission trip to Cambodia - causes that reflected her deep faith and generous spirit.
She had a special love for the game of Pinochle, and many joyful hours were spent around the table with friends and family, sharing laughter, strategy, and stories.
She was dearly loved by her family and friends and will be remembered for her strength, warmth, and devotion to others. She also leaves behind a large group of church friends whose lives were deeply touched by her kindness, faith, and fellowship.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made in Judy's honor to Trail Seekers of Central Washington at https://www.trailseekerswa.org/, a cause that meant so much to her. A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
The family extends their heartfelt thanks to the hospice care team at MultiCare in Yakima for their compassionate support during Judy's final days.
