Blaine, Washington - Patricia Ann Jones passed away on August 21, 2023. She was born in 1946 in Bellingham and grew up there. She graduated from Bellingham High School and Western Washington University. She married Thomas Jones in 1968 and they were married until her passing (54-years). She worked as a teacher. They lived 33 years on Bainbridge island and later back in Bellingham/Semiahmoo. Pat loved traveling and saw lots of the world. With Tom, she spent 9-years overseas in the Sudan, Taiwan, S. Korea, the Philippines and China. She was a dedicated teacher and principal in these countries. She received a masters in Education from Seattle Pacific and City U. Pat was a care giver for her Aunt Vergie and then her sister (which took a toll on her). She loved art, entertaining, and cooking for family and friends. She spent the winters at their Arizona place and loved living in a small village that is an art town and became friends with artists. She will be missed by many.
