Redondo Beach, California - Seth Gavin Lancaster, 29, passed away on May 23, 2025, in San Diego, California. Seth was Born on August 8, 1995. Seth grew up in Blaine, WA, and Redondo Beach, CA. and attended Blaine Jr. High, Riviera Hall Lutheran School, and Redondo Beach Union High School.
Seth worked in construction, specializing in the installation of windows and garage doors. He was known for his strong work ethic and hands-on skills. Outside of work, Seth had a deep passion for skateboarding, a love that began in childhood and stayed with him throughout his life. He was also a talented musician who played guitar and expressed himself through rap music under the name Sonikrave.
He is lovingly remembered by his mother, Lila Jo Hadeen Lancaster of Washington State and Redondo Beach, CA; Stepfather Kenneth Cain of Bellingham, WA; Sister Natalie D. of Minnesota; Girlfriend Irene Rode of San Diego. Grandmother Sara Varner of Arizona; Grandfather Dick Kinkeade of Minnesota; Grandmother Judy Jones of Missouri; Aunt and Uncle John and Nancy Dineen of Redondo Beach; Uncle Tim Kinkeade of Idaho; and Many Aunts, Uncles, Cousins, Friends and family across the globe.
Seth was preceded in death by his Father Todd Kinkeade of Arizona; Grandfather Glen Hadeen of Washington; Great-grandmother Muriel Kinkeade of Iowa; Great-grandparents Newell and Helen Wheeler of Missouri; Great grandparents Gus and Bessie Hadeen of Washington, Great grandmother Luella James of Iowa and God Grandmother Maxine Dineen of Redondo Beach.
A celebration of Seth's life will be held the weekend of what would have been his 30th birthday August 8, 2025 in Redondo Beach, California. All are welcome to attend. His final resting place will be among generations of the Hadeen family in Washington.
Seth's generous spirit and vibrant personality touched many lives. He was a beautiful soul with an enormous heart who never hesitated to help those in need. He will be missed forever by his loving mother and all who knew him.

Seth and i had so many fun and challenging experiances over many years, when he came into my life at 4 years old not having children of my own he was a joy to spend time with but a major challenge to keep up with his young energy. That energy carried with him into adulthood. From winning the pinewood derby in elementary school to commercial fishing in Alaska together,riding the elevator to the top of the Inmpire State building i will always have the cherished memories to make me smile. I will miss him forever. I was so blessed to have Seth in my life and to be Seth's Step Father.

It´s very hard for me to wrap my head around Seth not being here anymore. You will always be remembered for your sweetness, your kindness, your very funny great laugh! No words can fully capture the depth of sadness surrounding a tragic loss. No one feels this more intensely than your dear mother, Lila. You meant everything to her. You are far too young to be gone! You should have had decades of life ahead of you. I wish I could have known you as an adult. I will always remember you as the little boy I knew. I will never forget the funny names you gave to things. I remember how much you adored "Toy Story" and Buzz Lightyear. Now I have children of my own, and they also love "Toy Story," which often reminds me of you, especially since you dressed up as Buzz Lightyear for Halloween. Seth was the cutest boy. I remember him running up to me and saying, Mrs. Cutler, I got Dylan to go on the roller coaster." He helped my son with his fear of roller coasters. He was very special!
