My grandma was very special to me. We had a close relationship, and I will miss her terribly. She encouraged and supported me. She helped me through some tough times in my life by providing advice that sometimes I didn´t want to hear. She knew I wasn´t perfect, but had faith in me nevertheless. She could make me laugh without trying. We shared makeup tips, shopped, ate out, walked, attended music events, had slumber parties, watched movies together, and spoke on the phone often. She inspired me to be a better wife, harder worker, healthier eater, better dresser, faster walker, and earlier riser. She reminded me not to cheap out when getting my car fixed as doing that never benefited me in the end. She tried to get me to be more organized. I loved that she said what she thought in a kind and loving manner. I hope I can be as good of a grandma to my grandchildren someday. She will be a hard act to follow as she was truly one of a kind.

My Grandma was a true beauty. She was strong and taught me so much about endurance and devotion. She cared for so many others in her lifetime. She valued hard work, good eating and nature. She was still a fast walker until a few weeks ago and we enjoyed this Falls leaves dropping and the joy of country living. She was so excited about an international trip I took in October and was so supportive that I travel while I can. She had a quiet faith but she did mention recently "With God, we never walk alone." She has been with me all my life-any day I can think back to, she has been also on this earth, until now. I always called her the elegant country lady. I love you, Grandma and I'll see you in a little while.
