Dennis Everson Obituary
He was born on March 11, 1945 in Beloit, WI, the son of Roy and Emily (DeMunick) Everson. Speed was a 1963 Beloit Catholic High School graduate. He received his Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration from the University of Wisconsin Whitewater. Speed married Linda Peterson on August 21, 1971 in St. Thomas Catholic Church of Beloit.
Speed was formerly employed by Beloit Corporation as an estimator and later Paperchine. He enjoyed fishing and spending time with his granddogs and beloved cat, Bobber. Speed loved watching his grandchildren play sports. He was an avid Milwaukee Brewers, Milwaukee Bucks, Green Bay Packers, and Wisconsin Badgers fan. Speed was known for having "the perfect yard" in his neighborhood.
Survivors include his wife of 52 years, Linda Everson; daughters, Tamie (Brian Pearson) Everson and Kimberly (Christian) Georgeff; grandchildren, Brenin Pearson and Brynlyn Pearson; brother, Charles (Patricia) Everson; sister, Lauren (Gary) Zeller; and best friend, James Mowers.
Speed was predeceased by his parents.
A Funeral Mass of Christian Burial for Speed will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, May 24, 2024 in Our Lady of the Assumption Catholic Church, 2222 Shopiere Rd., Beloit, WI, with Fr. Jim Murphy officiating. Burial will be held in Floral Lawn Cemetery. A Prayer Service will be held at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday, May 23, 2024 in the Daley Murphy Wisch & Associates Funeral Home and Crematorium, 2355 Cranston Rd., Beloit, WI. Visitation of Remembrance will follow from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m.
