South Beloit, IL - Dolores M. Bruschi, 92, of South Beloit, IL, passed away on Saturday, November 22, 2025 in her home. She was born July 20, 1933 in
Beloit, WI, the daughter of Lester and Magdalene "Peg" (Loughan) Anderson. Dolores was a 1952 graduate of Beloit Memorial High School. Dolores married Richard "Dick" Bruschi on June 28, 1952 in
Beloit, WI. He predeceased her in September 21, 2022. Dolores was co-owner and operator of D&D Upholstery. She also was employed by H&B welding as a secretary. She was a member of Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witness, where Dolores did volunteer door to door ministry. Dolores was on her 1952 class reunion committee, and enjoyed entertaining her friends, baking, cooking, and had a talent in cake decorating. She always carried a camera, enjoyed photography and videotaping numerous activities at Premier Care where they called her a "Ray of Sunshine". Dolores found happiness in sending cards to everyone, for any occasion and fondly kept all the cards she had received over the years. Survivors include her children, Michael (Julia) Bruschi of Rockton, IL, Karla Bruschi and Timothy (Jill) Bruschi both of South Beloit, IL; grandchildren, Aric (Lisa) Bruschi of CT, Amanda Bruschi of South Beloit, IL, Angela (Mac) McCauley of Roscoe, IL and Derek Bruschi of Machesney Park, IL; nine great grandchildren; sister, Jeanne Woolley of Waterton, WI; brother, Gerald (Judy) Anderson of Janesville, WI; sisters-in-law, Julia Anderson and Anna Bruschi; brother-in- law, Frank ( Crystal ) Bruschi; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her parents; husband; son and daughter-in-law, David (Janet) Bruschi; brother, Lester Anderson; sister, Alice King; brothers-in- law, Douglas Bruschi and Thomas Woolley. A special thank you to Beloit Regional Hospice for the care given to Dolores. A private family service will be held at a later date.
