Kenneth Bertholomey Obituary

Beloit, WI - Kenneth Roy Bertholomey passed away on Wednesday, April 13, 2022 in Beloit.

He was born on February 2, 1943 in Dayton, OH, the son of Roy Lee and Etta (Cox) Bertholomey. Ken attended Troy (OH) High School and Ohio State University. He spent his career as a college bookstore manager at Ohio State University, Albion College, and Beloit College.

Ken enjoyed fishing, camping, boating, hobby woodworking, and was an ardent reader. He was a fan of both college and pro basketball and football, ever loyal to the Buckeyes and Da Bears. Ken enjoyed traveling to see SCCA and Formula I road racing. He had a sly sense of humor and an easy-going spirit.

He is survived by his daughters, Amy Bertholomey (Ray Samuelson) of Chicago and Megan Bertholomey of Meadville, PA; brothers, Brian (Sheila) Bertholomey of Pulaski, VA and Mark Bertholomey of Piqua, OH; mother of his daughters, Margaret Bertholomey of South Beloit, IL.

He was predeceased by his parents and sister, Gayle Turner.

Per Ken's request, there will be no services. Daley Murphy Wisch & Associates Funeral Home and Crematorium, 2355 Cranston Rd., Beloit, WI, assisted the family with arrangements.

Donations in his memory may be directed to Beloit Meals on Wheels.
