Christine Katz Obituary
1960-2012 MANCHESTER CENTER Christine Merritt Katz, age 52, of Manchester Center, Vt., beloved wife of David Katz passed away peacefully in her home on Friday, October 19, 2012.
In addition to her devoted husband, David, Christine will be remembered by her two children, Michael and Jennifer Katz; her mother, Irene Watkins Merritt; and her brother, David Merritt; her parents-in-law, Richard and Claire Katz.
She was predeceased by her father, Frederick Merritt.
Born on August 8, 1960 in Bay Shore, N.Y., Christine moved to Vermont, where she was the motel operator of Chalet Motel, as well as a member of the Order of the Eastern Star.
A graveside service, officiated by Rabbi Evan Schultz, took place on Monday at Cedar Park Cemetery, in Paramus, N.J.
The family would prefer that gifts should be sent to Camp Thorpe at 680 Capen Hill Rd., Goshen, VT 05733 in memory of Christine Katz.
