Donna L. Corkum 1961 - 2012 MANCHESTER CENTER Donna L. Corkum, 50, of Manchester Center, died Sunday, July 1, 2012, following a long illness. Donna was born in Stoughton, Mass., on Oct. 29, 1961, and was the daughter of the late Verne and Eleanor (Gay) Corkum. She was a graduate of Mount Anthony Union High School in Bennington and attended Castleton State College in Castleton. She was employed by Kittredge Mortgage Company for 25 years as a loan processor. Donna enjoyed beading and gardening, but her most precious thing was her daughter, Hannah. Besides her daughter Hannah of Castleton, survivors include her sister, Terri Johnson of Summerville, S.C.; her brother, Bruce Corkum of Portland, Ore.; two nieces, four nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins, and many friends, including two very special close friends, Martha Stearns of Manchester and Barbara Vigsnes of Bennington. Donna will be remembered as someone who loved people, made many friends and touched many lives. FUNERAL NOTICE: A Celebration of her life will be held on July 21, 2012, at 10 a.m. at the Riley Rink, 410 Hunter Park Rd, Manchester.
