To the family of Helen

I knew Helen (and Bob) through the years and admired her so much. She was always cheerful and inspiring. I always wished I could play cards half as well as she did, and she was always patient with me. All the memories you have will help you get through through this difficult time. God bless you. What a lovely woman, who thought so much about her immediate family ... and was never afraid to put a helping hand out toward the extended family ... It would scare you at moments ... Sometimes, I found, it would be so difficult to even get a plate, especilally during Turkey day , and if her favorite football team, the "New York Football Giants" were playing ( She would be buzzing from the kitchen to the Den )... I was not fortunate to know many of my good friends Moms and Dads' ... There was Mrs.' Boodakian, Brooks. ,Greenberg, O'Brian, and Finnegan, and ya know what? ... Helen scared the bee gee sus out of me when ever she set the law ... I hope that every one of her grandchildren get it ... There is nothing more special than a Grandma or Grandpa's wisdom, PERIOD... They, have seen it ALL ... To the entire Mayhew family, ... You lost someone very special ... I cared for her very much ... Mackie
