Shirley Evans Obituary

Shirley Evans BENNINGTON Shirley June Browne Evans, 76, of Middleboro, Mass., formerly of Whitman, Mass., died Thursday, June 26, 2008, at Tufts Medical Center in Boston. Shirley was a member of the American Legion in Readsboro, and the V.F.W. in Bennington. She loved arts and crafts and traveled around the country with her husband for 10 years in their RV. She was the wife of the late John M. Evans of Abington. She was the loving mother of Mark Evans and his wife, Jo-Anne of Lakeville, and Marcia C. Evans of Vermont; loving grandmother of Shanna Souza and her husband, John, and Nicole Evans; two great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. FUNERAL NOTICE: A funeral service will be Wednesday at 5 p.m. in the DAHLBORG-MACNEVINE FUNERLA HOME, 280 Bedford St. (Rt. 18) Lakeville, MA. Visitation has been omitted. In lieu of flowers, gifts may be given in Shirley's memory to the Memorial and Honor Program, St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
