Alberta BalderBalder Obituary
Alberta 'Bertie' left the Foley farm to work in the Twin Cities. She started in a retail catalog order department and moved on to become a private secretary. She married Jim Balder in 1956 and retired to have five children. She returned to work in 1976 as a receptionist and retired in 1995.
Alberta is survived by her two daughters, Cindy and Rene; three sons, Jim (Becky), Tim (Tammy) and Rick (Karen); nine grandchildren, Jamie, Dan, Jake, Ruth, Tom, Brandy, Mike, Zach and Kyle; and two great-grandchildren, Dorothy and Freja.
Visitation will be 5-7 p.m. Tuesaday, Nov. 18, at Kapala-Glodek-Malone Funeral Home, 7800 Bass Lake Road in New Hope, MN 55428.
Mass of Christian Burial will be 10 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 19, with visitation from 9 a.m. until the time of Mass at St. Raphael's Church, 7301 Bass Lake Road in New Hope.
