Jack Kellner Obituary
Jack grew up in Warsaw and attended Warsaw High School, where he played basketball. He graduated in 1968. In March of 1969, he enlisted in the United States Air Force. During his military career, Jack completed boot camp training at Lackland Air Force Base in San Antonio, Texas, followed by technical training at Sheppard Air Force Base in Wichita Falls, Texas. He was later stationed at Andrews Air Force Base in Maryland, where he worked as an airline mechanic on aircraft for many of the nation's generals. He completed his service at McConnell Air Force Base in Derby, Kansas. Jack was honorably discharged on May 31, 1989, and returned to Warsaw.
In his free time, Jack enjoyed working on his cars, woodworking, and gardening.
He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Archie Kellner and Johnnie Kellner; and a sister, Kathy Kellner.
Jack is survived by three children: Brian Kellner (Rebecca) of Searcy, Arkansas; Gregory Kellner (Kandi) of Warsaw, Missouri; and Jennifer Runyan (Jason) of Warsaw. He is also survived by six grandchildren: Brandy Foster (Colton) of Georgia; Michael Runyan of Warsaw; Lauren Runyan (Chad Supernault) of Warsaw; Sydney Runyan of Warsaw; Vannessa Dickens (Richard) of Japan; and Joshua Kellner of Warsaw. He leaves behind six great-grandchildren: Joslynn Corpening of Lincoln, Missouri; Kaden Runyan of Warsaw; Aaron Supernault of Warsaw; Paisley Supernault of Warsaw; Royal Carter Dickens, of Japan and Daniel Runyan of Warsaw; and one great-grandchild on the way. He is also survived by several loved nieces and nephews.
Arrangements for his cremation are under the direction of Reser Funeral Home, 101 W. Main Street, Warsaw, Missouri. A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, January 10th at 1:00 P.M. at the home of Brian Kellner 19439 Lexi Lane, Warsaw Missouri. Everyone is welcome.
