Dudley Bryan Jr. Obituary

Dudley Eugene Bryan Jr., 86, of Benton, passed away Oct. 27, 2021. He was born on June 18, 1935, in Warren, to the late Dudley Bryan Sr. and Dorothy (Gibson) Bryan. Dudley was a hard worker who owned a painting business and he also worked in maintenance and commercial construction. He is known to be a "ladies' man." Dudley had a great personality and was fun to be around. He had a great singing voice and often sang karaoke. Dudley was an avid gambler and enjoyed going to Oaklawn. With Dudley, it was "his way or no way" and he was true to himself, always doing his own thing. Preceding Dudley in death are his wife, Maxine Bryan; parents, Dudley and Dorothy Bryan Sr.; brother, Donald Bryan; and sister, Diane Bryan. He leaves behind to cherish his memory his son, Dudley Eugene "Trey" Bryan, of Lonoke; daughter, Sandy Springfield, of Jacksonville; grandchildren: McKenzie Bryan, Mason Bryan and Macie Bryan; brother, Danny Bryan and his wife, Kathy, of Magnolia; sister, Dorlyne Davidson, of Hot Springs; and a host of family and friends who love Dudley and will miss him always. Dudley's children not listed in this obituary are asked to contact the funeral home by Monday, Nov. 1. Following Dudley's wishes, no formal funeral services are planned. Arrangements entrusted to Smith-Benton Funeral Home. Online guestbook: www.SmithFamilyCares.com.
