Patsy Ruth Singleton

Patsy Ruth Singleton, 93, of Benton, passed away peacefully on March 8, 2023, in Benton. Patsy was born in Benton, on June 5, 1929, to Luther Keene and Jamie Keene Armstrong. Patsy graduated high school and began her career in the telephone industry at Southwestern Bell. Patsy would spend her entire career in the telephone industry until she retired. Patsy enjoyed gardening, camping, fishing, and spending time with those she loved. Patsy is survived by her grandson, Bart Singleton (Danielle); great-grandsons, Sawyer Singleton and Ryker Singleton, of Benton; sister, Joann Smith, of Charleston, South Carolina. Patsy is preceded in death by her loving husband, J.P. Singleton (Joseph); son, Kim Singleton; and infant son, Joe David Singleton; mother and father, Luther and Jamie Keene; siblings, Curtis Keene and Billie Sue Keene. A visitation will be held at Roller-Alcoa Funeral Home 6 to 8 p.m. on March 10, 2023. A funeral service will be held at the First Baptist Church of Benton at 11:30 a.m. on March 11, 2023. A burial will follow the service to Pinecrest Memorial Park in Alexander.
