Shirley Phillips Obituary
Shirley loved the Lord and was a member of Glen Rose Assembly of God. Her greatest joys were taking care of her family and her daily trips to the Hilltop Grocery Store in Haskell to drink coffee with her friends.
Shirley leaves to cherish her memory her loving husband of 59 years, Ottie Preston Phillips, of Traskwood; two sons, Bryan Preston Phillips and wife, Patricia, of Livingston, Texas, and James Marion Phillips and wife, Cheryl, of Benton; five grandchildren, Megan Phillips, Zackry Phillips, Emily Phillips, Rylee Phillips and Maggie Phillips; a great-grandson, Cooper Hostetler; two brothers, Dewayne Graves of Kerrville, Texas, and Michael Lynn Graves, of Houston, Texas; and many other family members and friends who loved Shirley and will miss her always.
Visitation will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. Tuesday, May 28, at Smith-Benton Funeral Home, located at 322 N. Market St. in Downtown Benton.
Funeral service, officiated by the Rev. Gerald Williams, will be held at 9:30 a.m. Wednesday, May 29, at the funeral home.
Burial will follow at Mount Pleasant Cemetery in Hot Springs.
Services are entrusted to Smith-Benton Funeral Home.

I loved seeing Mrs. Shirley everytime she came into subway when I worked there. I would always make her a good deal on the day old cookies! She was such a sweet blessing to me!!!! Until we meet again!!!
