Alice Hunt

Alice Marcia Harvey Hunt 1916-2010 WILLIAMSBURG, VA - Alice Marcia Harvey Hunt died peacefully at Dominion Village in Williamsburg on Friday, December 17, 2010. She was born July 3, 1916 in Fort Fairfield, Maine, the daughter of Chandler Cushman Harvey and Lena Osgood Harvey, and was predeceased by her brothers, Dr. Thomas Harvey and Kingdon Harvey, her sister, Helen Harvey Thompson, and her husband, William Scott Hunt. She is survived by her children and their spouses: Lee Hunt DeRevere Bakie (Gordon); Martha Hunt Dinsmore (David); Cynthia Hunt Lowery (Grover) and Kingdon Harvey Hunt (Teresita) and nine grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren. Alice attended the University of Maine where she was a member of Phi Mu Sorority. She was married on June 16, 1936 in Fort Fairfield, Maine and moved to Mt. Washington, Mass. She made homes for her family in Housatonic, Great Barrington and Sheffield, Mass., and Valley Springs, Calif., and moved to Williamsburg, Va., in 1997.
