Alice B. Malloy

Alice B. Malloy 1907 2009 ADAMS Mrs. Alice B. (Doll) Malloy, 101, formerly of 78 Orchard St. Adams, died Thursday evening, May 7, 2009, at Sweet Brook Care Center in Williamstown. She was born in Adams on Sept. 24, 1907, daughter of Henry and Bertha Rother Doll. She attended Adams schools, graduating from the former Adams High School in 1925. Mrs. Malloy worked in the retail sales department of the former Sprague Electric Co. in North Adams for 27 years, until retiring in 1972. She was a member of St. Mark's Episcopal Church, Adams. Her husband, Francis D. Malloy, whom she married on Sept. 30, 1929, died on June 12, 1987. She leaves a niece and two nephews. She was predeceased by her brothers, Otto Doll, Henry Doll and Herbert Doll. FUNERAL NOTICE: The funeral will be held on Monday, May 11th, at 1 p.m. in the PACIOREK FUNERAL HOME, 13 Hoosac St. Adams. The Rev. R. Ellen White, Priest-in-Charge of St. mark's Episcopal Church, Adams, will officiate. Burial will follow in Bellevue Cemetery, Adams. Calling hours are Monday from 12 p.m. until the service. Memorial donations may be made to St. Mark's Episcopal Church through the funeral home.
