Annette M. Ferrara

1923 - 2018

ADAMS-Annette M. Ferrara, 95 of Adams, passed away Monday, December 3, 2018 at the North Adams Commons Rehabilitation Center. Born in Adams on September 12, 1923, daughter of the late Philias and Lilian Perrault Sauv she attended Adams schools and was a 1942 graduate of the former Adams High School. Her last place of employment was for the Cascade School Supply Co. in North Adams as a bookkeeper for over thirty years, retiring in 1991. Prior to that she was employed for the former Arnold Print Works, and then the former Brightwater Paper Co., both in Adams. Annette was a communicant of Notre Dame des Sept Douleurs Church in Adams. She enjoyed sewing, quilting, tag sales and cake decorating.

She is survived by her husband Frank Ferrara, whom she married on April 12, 1947. Two sons; John Ferrara of Adams, Alan Ferrara and his wife Kelly of Indiana. A daughter; Jean Ferrara and her wife Sue of the State of Florida, several nieces and nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews. She was predeceased by a brother, Gerard Sauv and five sisters; Lorraine Magnant, Dorothy Gageant, Rita Rougeau, Norma Fortier, and Lucille Sauve'.

Services for Annette will take place Saturday, December 8, 2018 at 10:45AM from the TROTTIER PRINGLE FUNERAL HOME, 6 Summer St., Adams, 01220, with the Rev. Steven G. Montesanti, Pastor of the Parish of St. John Paul II officiating. Burial will follow in Bellevue Cemetery in Adams, calling hours at the funeral home will be Saturday from 9AM until the time of the service.
