Bobby Jo Ratigan

SANDISFIELD -- Bobby Jo Ratigan, 31, of 260 East Main St., Torrington, Conn., formerly of Sandisfield, died Sunday at home.

Born in Waterbury, Conn., on March 24, 1972, daughter of Barbara A. Baxter Hutchkiss of San-disfield and the late David E. Baxter, she was a longtime resident of Sandisfield.

Mrs. Ratigan was a certified nursing assistant at New Boston Nursing Home.

Besides her mother, she leaves her husband, Thomas Ratigan ; a daughter, Barbara Ann Ratigan, at home; a son Hunter T. Ratigan, at home; her stepfather, John Hutchkiss of Sandisfield; her grandmother, Mary Margraf of Sandisfield; great-grandmother, Fanny Hamilton of Sandisfield; two sisters, Cindy Keiderling of Tolland and Billie Jo Baxter of Sandisfield; and a brother Josua Baxter of Sandisfield.

FUNERAL NOTICE -- A memorial service for Bobby Jo Ratigan will be held Friday, June 20, at 1 at First Church of Christ, Main Street, Winsted, Conn. There will be no calling hours. SHEA FUNERAL HOME, 99 Wheeler Street, Winsted, is in charge of arrangements. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Bobby Jo Ratigan Memory Fund for the benefit of her children Barbara and Hunter through Banknorth, 200 New Hartford Road, Winsted, CT 06098. She enjoyed spending all her time with her children, family and friends.
