Christopher James Stanley 1983-2012 CLARKSBURG Mr. Christopher James Stanley, 28 of 540 River Rd. Clarksburg, died Sunday February 19, 2012 as a result of an automobile accident in North Adams. He was born in Bennington, Vt., on April 5, 1983, son of Henry G. Stanley and Cathy Harrington Maselli. He attended schools in Bennington and graduated from Drury High School with the class of 2001. Christopher was a veteran of the US Marines and served for four years in Iraq. He worked with his father in Stanley and Sons Home Remodeling. Christopher enjoyed riding motorcycles and especially enjoyed spending time with his family. He was a Boston Red Sox baseball and New England Patriots football fan. Survivors include his father, Henry G. Stanley of North Adams, his mother, Cathy Maselli of Lee, three children; Caleb Christopher Stanley, Brayleigh Stanley, and Addison Stanley. Two stepchildren; Arianna Bennett and Jaycob Bennett. One brother; Stephen Stanley of North Adam, four sisters; Heather Stanley, Grace Stanley, Tina Stanley, and Angela Stanley, all of North Adams. Paternal Grandmother; Mary (Thurber) Stanley of Queensbury, N.Y. Maternal Grandmother; Rosemary Harrington Green of Bennington, Vt. His fiancee; Britni Maxwell, with whom he resided and aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. FUNERAL NOTICE: The funeral for Christopher Stanley will be held Saturday February 25, 2012 at 10:30 a.m. at FLYNN & DAGNOLI-MONTAGNA HOME FOR FUNERALS WEST CHAPELS, 521 West Main St. North Adams. Burial will follow in Southview cemetery. Calling hours at the funeral home are Friday from 4 to 7 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made in his memory to the funeral home.
