David Rennie Obituary
He was born in Pittsfield on August 6, 1940 to the late Alexander and Angeline Michell Rennie.
David attended Pittsfield Schools and worked at General Electric in Ordnance for 25 years, retiring in 1991, where he was a supervisor in Bradley tanks.
Mr. Rennie married the former Mary E. Matteson on August 20, 1960.
He enjoyed hunting, fishing, motorcycles and horses.
David is survived by his wife, Mary Rennie of Pittsfield, their two daughters, Sallie Roos and husband Mark of Pittsfield and Rhonda Anthony of Pittsfield; sister, Ruth McCann and husband Charles of Pittsfield and three grandchildren, Kelsey Hook and her fiancé Jeremy Hecht, Cory Roos and wife Rechael and Gianni Anthony. As well as two great-grandchildren, Ari and Everett Hecht.
Funeral Notice: Services will be private. The funeral and calling hours have been cancelled.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in his name to Hospice of Western Mass or Kindred At Home, in care of Dery Funeral Home, 54 Bradford St, Pittsfield, MA 01201

Mary, Rhonda, and Cory, We feel so bad about Dave's passing. WE were blessed to have known him. especially Bob, who was his riding partner while out motorcycling with Paul Smith. I worked with Dave for about 25 years in GE. I was also his favorite Barber. Rest peacefully my friend. Bob&Shirley Emerson
