David Warner Shufelt

1949 - 2015 PITTSFIELD David Warner Shufelt, 66, of 174 Fort Hill Avenue, died Friday October 23rd, 2015 at Berkshire Medical Center after a long illness. There will be no service. Mr Shufelt was born in Alford, MA on January 31, 1949 to Harvey Foster and Lillian Ethier Shufelt. He was educated in public schools in Pittsfield, MA, and lived on the family farm on Fort Hill Avenue, the "Funny Farm", until his death. He loved animals and the outdoors. He was a licensed contractor and enjoyed building homes. In 1992 he co-founded West Stockbridge Video, where he worked for many years. He is survived by two children, David Jason Shufelt of Pittsfield, MA, and Cameo Wood of San Francisco, CA; two grandchildren, Anthony David and Sharon Lee Shufelt; and his sisters, Rose Mary Young of Hancock, MA, and Susan Bennett of Hickory, NC. He was predeceased by his parents, a sister, Florence Elaine Shufelt Fiske, and his brothers, Harvey "Juny" Foster Shufelt, John Henry Shufelt, and George Jerry Shufelt.
