Eugene "Chick" Henry Frenier, Jr, 73 of Pittsfield, passed away on January 21, 2023 at Berkshire Medical Center.

Born in Pittsfield, MA on June 12, 1949 to Eugene and Constantina Crea Frenier. He was a graduate of Pittsfield High School.

He was predeceased by his mother and father, and also his two younger brothers, Peter and Paul Frenier.

He had been employed as a Gilder at Crane and Company and retired from there in 2008.

He enjoyed riding his motorcycle, going on vacation, being with his friends, watching Westerns on TV, and his beloved cat, Kiekie.

Mr. Frenier is survived by his son, Jamie Frenier of Tucson, Arizona, and his granddaughter, Sydney Frenier, also of Tucson. He is also survived by several aunts & cousins, and his loving companion, Lori Griffin.

Dery Funeral Home has been entrusted with his arrangements.

Chicky was a dear friend who I got to know through my husband Tom Raimer. They grew up together on Inperial Ave in Pittsfield. We enjoyed partying with him and his brothers and riding motorcycles. He will be missed by so many. He was such a fun guy!

Dear Jamie, Lori and family, I´m so sorry to read about the passing of Chickie. His passing stirs up memories of us stopping band practice and watching the Beatles on the Ed Sullivan Show to waving to him as he rode by on his Triumph back in the 60´s. I´m glad I was able to stop by the house, give him old wedding pictures of his parents that I had and talk to him before leaving The Berkshires back in 2017. I´m sure he enjoyed seeing them. He was always just a nice, genuine guy! He´ll always be remembered in my prayers. Skip

Chicky was a fun abd easy going guy. I rode motorcycles with him and his friends Ed McCabe, John Keiger, and Tom Raimer in the late 60´s. Crazy , carefree times in our youth! Peace to you, cycling in heaven .
