My dad was an amazing man, he took care of everyone even when he was sick and he tryed his hardest to make sure his family was happy, I'm so glad he was my dad and I got to spend 16 years with him. All he did was keep smiles on everyone's faces . He was everything in a father, I'm sad to watch him go but I'm glad his outta pain and in a better place with his wife. I love you daddy, , forever and always and I know your always looking down on me <3

To all of Gary's family, So very sorry to read of Gary and Pam's passing. Gary was one of my dearest childhood friends. I can remember so many fun times we had and was the only one of our friends who was allowed to curse and swear around my mother and father. He was extreamly funny and would do anything for you. May God bless him and know he is in my prayers.

I am blessed to have known Gary and for him to allow me to oversee his care after our mother, Pam, passed in January. As a teen he could make me laugh when very few could. He taught me we could have humor during, not only the greatest of times, but also during the most difficult. He shared his love for us, especially during this last year. I do not regret on trip we made to see him. Nothing was left unsaid. I promised him I would care for him and his daughter, my sister Shelby. He blessed us all with the most unbelievable encounters he had near the end of his journey here on earth. He gave purpose and meaning not just to his life but all of ours. Our words and his experiences allowed him so much peace he wanted to enter his Eternal Life. Those gifted to witness the last few months of his life will forever be changed, will forever have peace, will forever believe without a doubt there is a better place.
God was awaiting his arrival.
Gary you will be missed!
With much love...until we meet again!

Brother Gary was a close to a standup comedian as one can get. One always knew he was IN THE ROOM. Heroically, he maintained his sense of humor to the very, very end of his time on earth. Toward the end he was scared of dyeing. He then received an enormous gift/grace from Jesus that gave him the courage and the happiness he needed to move on. He couldn't wait to pass over after having gotten that grace from God. Observing his total experience and his experience with Jesus was a gift to all of us who knew as it strengthened our faith and it gave us happiness in knowing Gary is pain free now and having a ball in heaven. Praise God for knowing Gary is doing so well now.
