George Decker Obituary
Shortly after high school graduation, he joined the General Electric Company team, graduating from their Apprentice Toolmaker Course in 1962. In June of 1994, after 36 years of dedicated service, George retired from Lockheed Martin.
Among many things, he enjoyed sitting on his back deck watching all the tame and wild animals that came around.
George is survived by his loving and devoted wife of 14 years, the former Patricia Wadsworth, whom he adored.
Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his first wife, the former Shelby M. Denis, whom he married on July 19, 1975. Shelby passed away in May of 2006.
Funeral Notice:
Funeral services for Mr. George W. Decker will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory can be made to the Berkshire Humane Society, 214 Barker Road, Pittsfield, MA 01201.
